History of Crescent College
Crescent College was established in the year 2000 in the city of Huntington Park, Ca, and since then, has been providing vocational education to the residents of Los Angeles County.
Its’ founders have more than 30 years of combined management experience in vocational education, and the faculty and administration maintain quality academic programs that are continuously evolving, so that the needs of both the students and the local business community are constantly being met.
Crescent College has also trained, and currently continues to train healthcare employees from facilities such as, Cedar Sinai Hospital, Centinela Hospital, Children’s Hospital of Orange County and St. Francis Medical Center, to name a few. The college has also established internship alliances with facilities such as Kaiser Permanent and Health Care Partners of Los Angeles, CA.
Crescent College is also one of the first private vocational schools in Los Angeles County to implement “Green Training” in all programs. This unique training helps students understand the importance of energy conservation and efficiency in the workplace. It also trains all students, no matter what their program of study, to recognize work habits that help conserve energy, and to use/purchase office products that are considered eco-friendly. This training may then translate to a more efficient employee and “Green” workplace. We invite all prospective students to visit our campus and audit any class during normal campus hours. Please call for more information regarding appointments to audit a class; a college advisor will be happy to assist you with your needs.
